All the unknowns of UTMB are actually what provide me with the most peace. I think having a plan for everything is what stresses me out the most when it comes to racing, especially when you need that plan to work to have the perfect day.

When I look

Amidst the complex planning for the 5000 piece puzzle that is UTMB, the best advice and words of encouragement I’ve gotten all week have also been the simplest (and the most French):

the best part about this sport is getting to push with your friends and competitors to do crazy things and get the most out of each other. unfortunate when you can’t do that and the fight
